It is with deep regret that my Alma Mater displayed such a juvenile, spiteful action against Mr. Fenchak.
Anytime a 37 seat governing entity has nearly 100% unanimous votes on nearly every decision...no other opinions, no other solutions, no other debate leads to questions of collusion, manipulation and fear of reprisal. Seems to me that only one Trustee understood the importance of fiduciary responsibilities of the BOT...Mr. Barry Fenchak! Barry said it best with one statement...how has UM and tOSU are able to maintain academic excellence, superior athletics, sustainable budgets, and still keep tuition attainable. I received a huge announcement that PSU has surpassed 800,000 alumni....more than any other school....maybe the BOT should spend more time uniting this base for support than wasting time on high schoolish vendettas.
I don’t understand why this action now? Aren’t you rolling off the board anyway in less than a month? I thought new alumni trustees join the board at the July meeting? Thank you for your tenacious service asking questions that deserve answers!
